4th International Seminar on Chinese Medicine

On November 8, 9, and 10, 2013, the fourth consecutive seminar on Chinese medicine and acupuncture with Professor Le Yimin was held in Sofia. The seminar topics included: Chinese diagnostics, pulse diagnosis, tongue diagnosis, Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture, and Chinese therapeutic prescriptions for common conditions. Practitioners of Chinese medicine and acupuncture from all over Bulgaria attended the seminar. Once again, members of the Via Vite Center team took an active part.

During one of his previous visits, Prof. Le Yimin also visited Stara Zagora together with Prof. Wu Xiang and Prof. Zoya Goranova. Prof. Le Yimin is the head of the SDC Department at the Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (the fourth largest TCM university in China) and a full-time lecturer at the same university. He is the head of the Department for International Scientific Exchange at the State Administration of TCM; a visiting professor and lecturer at the Pacific Institute of Oriental Medicine (New York, USA), the Institute of TCM in Sydney (Australia), and a professor at the Academy of Oriental Medicine in Austin (USA).
Prof. Le Yimin has more than 20 years of experience teaching TCM in various parts of the world, with over 2,600 academic hours. He has extensive experience in training foreign students and specialist doctors, conducting practical seminars and lecture courses in the USA, Belgium, Sweden, Australia, Brazil, Malaysia, and more. Prof. Le Yimin also has 16 years of clinical practice in a TCM hospital. He has specialized in TCM diagnostics and the treatment of internal and ENT diseases using acupuncture and herbal medicine.
